Recently got cash from family and I'm wondering which one to get. I know a store with elden ring launch edition but dark souls 3 also seems cool so which one should I get then?
Which armor setup would yield the most fire damage resist?
How tall is Gwynevere?
Should I respec to a good build for the Onyx Blade? I'm currently at the Soul of Cinder and using a Dragonslayer's Greataxe. Would it be worth it to do it now, or wait until I beat him?

So here's a thought that I had for the plot of a sequel to Dark Souls III.
The title would be Dark Souls IIII, with 4 'I's like on some clocks. There is a reason for this, as it implies circularity. It takes place during an Age of Dark, but the past has become mysterious. There are multiple potential pasts told to the player that explain how the world got to be this way, but the player doesn't know which of them is true:
1) Multiple Great Flames began the universe, but the Lords who harnessed the Flames squandered their power to fight amongst themselves for more power, until they destroyed each other and the Dark Lords rose to take their place. Now the Great Flames are much weaker, and it is the Dark Lords who fight over them. This is related to the ending of Dark Souls III in which the world is reset, in which case the world of the game is a new universe.
2) The world embraced the Age of Dark either in Dark Souls III, Dark Souls II, or maybe even Dark Souls (but that last one is debatable due to Dark Souls II being possibly canonical to either ending of Dark Souls). At this point, the Dark Lord rose and the First Flame was nearly lost, but eventually the Dark Lord was betrayed by those who coveted the power of the First Flame and divided its power amongst themselves to make the Great Flames. But now even as the Dark Lords turn upon each other the power of the Great Flames is fading; if this happens fire would wholly disappear and time would end.
3) A Lord of Hollows absorbed the First Flame, but failed to unite humanity in the long term. The Lord of Hollows transferred power by having children, until the Lord of Hollows perished from loss of power. (This may have been what happened to the Furtive Pygmy after having the many children of humanity, but nobody in this time period knows that story.) Now in place of a single ruler there are multiple Dark Lords, who each represent a different view of the Dark and struggle against each other for supremacy as well as to take the dwindling power of the Great Flames associated with each other.
4) The world just became this way naturally as a result of the First Flame petering out due to lack of sacrifices. The Great Flames are merely the greatest flames still existing in the world.
Essentially, all roads lead to this scenario, and whether this takes place in the original universe of 'Dark Souls' or a new one is open to interpretation.
Fire is invaluable, because the world only exists as long as it exists; therefore ordinary people do not have access to fire as it is too precious a resource. Great twisted trees with bark of stone have grown from the corpses of ancient and forgotten beings unto the sky over the course of epochs beyond reckoning. Civilization has turned barbarous, and knowledge that was once commonplace has become lost. And the sun, which since the beginning of the Age of Dark has become the Dark Sun which looks like the Dark Sign, is almost extinguished, and people live in darkness having not known anything better. Some believe that there were once gods, and the delusional believe that there still are, but most have given themselves over to hopeless nihilism.
Most humans are essentially immortal and Hollow-like, like pygmies except that some have become quite large and powerful, gorging upon souls, but a few of them are born that still have light inside of them, and so to us look "normal", and these are mortal and persecuted by society at large. There are very few of these "normal" humans left, and fewer born amongst the few new children of every generation, but they have the potential to obtain a power which allows them to resurrect by fires even though they die, and rumors say that some used this power to rise and become Dark Lords themselves. The Dark Lords hoard the last bits of fire that remain in the world and use it to pursue their own agendas, but everyone senses that, as the amount of fire in the world fades, time is literally running out, and once time ends even the Age of Dark shall fade into non-existence if nothing is done. The player character is one of these chosen who still retain a tiny speck of light in their souls.
There is hope though. Some speak of a coming Age of Light beyond Fire and Dark, in which humanity finds the means to create its own flames and need not depend upon fire already in existence, and without a scarcity of fire all people could live like gods; yet this may be a mere rumor amongst commoners and the insane: wishful thinking. Others say that even if the secret of creating fire were learned, the powerful would never share their power as it runs contrary to the nature of humans, so the world as it exists is not worth preserving, being filled with immeasurable suffering that would be perpetuated even if the world could be saved, and that it is better to let oblivion take reality to end this suffering. Finally, some say that there is the possibility that---by harnessing the combined power of the remaining Great Flames---the worthy may transcend humanity to become beings with the power to exist beyond the limits of time as long as they are willing to evolve.
The player chooses which path to take, although every ending comes at a high cost. The goal of the game the game would be to collect the power of the Great Flames and unify them once more. The player may choose: the player's character to be sacrificed in the name of magical science so that the secret of creating fire may be revealed, to extinguish the Great Flames so all fire shortly burns out and existence ends, or to transcend into a true dragon, with the ability to teach the strong and worthy to also transcend into a higher existence as dragons as the end of time approaches.
There may be nods to previous games, especially Dark Souls II, since that game had fewer nods in Dark Souls III than Dark Souls did, and some locations may survive. But since ancient lore has been forgotten over the course of time no one has any knowledge of the past before the Age of Dark. One exception could be the legacy of the player character from Dark Souls II, who may have left research into how to transcend the cycle of Fire and Dark, even if that character's name has been lost to time. As you can probably tell, it is strongly implied that the third ending leads to the player character and possibly others becoming dragons, a return to an Age of Ancients, and the possible repetition of the events of the first Dark Souls, so Dark Souls is not only the first game in the series but a potential sequel to Dark Souls IIII.
Let me know if you like my idea or not. If you have your own idea for 'Dark Souls 4', or suggestions, themes, philosophies, characters, or game-play ideas that you think should be included if a fourth Dark Souls game is made someday, feel free to share. I want to hear what other people think! :D

It has indeed been quite a long time since I've been able to do this. If I may ask, why am I not able to edit any pages while others are able to? As every time I try to clock on the button to begin, I'm always instead greet by a darkened screen that prevents me from clicking on anything, and also without any accessibility to any tools or other options! Thank you for your time, and have a wonderful New Year everybody!
1: Ancient Wyvern, died twice simply because I didn't know how to plunge attack and fell to my death.
2: Curse-Rotted Greatwood, hard to see what he's doing.
3: Yhorm, easy and anticlimactic, only took 2 hits.
4: Deacons, the Cathedral Knights stood more of a threat than these guys.
5: Champion Gundyr, stripped him of the second phase, which was the best part.
6: Iudex Gundyr, Champion but easier and cool second phase.
7: Crystal Sage, first try, underwhelming even though I came in with barely any flasks.
8: Vordt, good boss, just not too detailed.
9: Dancer, good, but the attacks sometimes feel unfair
10: Abyss Watchers, great boss, but getting killed because the second watcher revived and decided to spinslash you before you knew he was there sucked.
11: Wolnir, the skeletons hit me more than him, but the sword reveal was great.
12: Consumed King, had to cheese him, but he was still very fun.
13: Old Demon King, easy to punish and got to sadistically sit there when he fell down at the end.
14: Pontiff Suluvahn, liked his moveset and the cloning is a great time to punish
And finally... 15: Dragonslayer Armour, moveset and design was great, wouldn't change a thing.
Is there any covenant in DSlll (excluding Watchdogs) that doesn't rely on PvP. Because I don't have an online account but I want to join a different covenant, would that be possible?

1: How do you equip the Watchdogs of Farron covenant item? It's not a ring, and I don't reme, ber seeing it in my inventory.
2: Will you still be summoned to fight players entering Farron in offline mode?
I am currently on New Game++ going for platinum when a thought occurred to me concerning the crowns and their blessings.
I know that with each New Game Plus cycle that the blessings for the crowns need to be re-earned. I also know that it is possible to obtain multiple copies of the same crown, one per playthrough (or at least it is for Vendrick's; I skipped the DLC in New Game+).
So here's my situation and question. I obtained and fully upgraded King Vendrick's crown in New Game. After completing all the DLC in New Game++ to re-receive the blessing, will I need to fully upgrade Vendrick's crown from that playthrough and wear it to receive the blessing, or will I only need his New Game++ crown to receive the blessing while the blessing will then bless all kings crowns from EVERY playthrough, including my fully upgraded Vendrick crown from New Game?
